Campagnolo announces new Levante gravel wheels

Campagnolo has announced the Levante wheels, ‘ushering in a new era’ of gravel cycling for the brand.

The wheels use World-Tour proven technologies already made famous by the brand’s WTO range and it has adapted them for the gravel world. Campagnolo’s Hand Made Ultra-Light Carbon (H.U.L.C) makes them “stiff for climbing and compliant for descending”, said the brand, providing a “confidence-inspiring ride that’ll keep you coming back for more time and time again”.

Campagnolo said the Levante wheels have been designed with adaptability in mind. The patented 2-way fit system means riders can run either clincher or tubeless, and the 25mm internal rim width allows you to run 1.5” to a massive 3.0” tyres.

The wheels have also been tested to stand up to the rigours of gravel cycling. “ASTM 2 tested means you can thrash through the route fearlessly and the H.U.L.C construction combined with an asymmetric offset equals a strong and balanced wheel that can take the rough and smooth.”

Levante utilises Campagnolo’s Next 3 Ways (N3W) freehub body and is the “perfect companion” to the Ekar 13x groupset. N3W is a patented standard for a freewheel body engineered to house Campagnolo 11, 12 and 13-speed cassettes.

The wheelset is also available to purchase with Shimano HG and SRAM XDR freehub bodies. It is available from or your local premium IBD, and stock will be available in May.

Campagnolo recently revealed its new brand proposition – ‘Dream Bigger’. Built on the foundations of recent company growth, Dream Bigger will be the cornerstone for Campagnolo marketing communications, highlighting the aspirational mindset of the brand with a call to action to customers, as the company enters a new era.

The brand campaign forms part of Campagnolo’s renewed ambition to increase brand awareness and salience. It comes as Campagnolo records its strongest period of growth since the 1980s, with turnover increasing by 45% from 2020-2022.
