Australian Cycling Eyewear company BZ Optics have announced a partnership with Ison Distribution of Ely Cambridgeshire.
Ison will distribute their Photochromic Bi Focal Cycling sunglasses into the UK, German and Austrian cycling markets.
BZ Optics initially had their world release at the London Cycle and Triathlon Show in February where the two companies commenced discussions. BZ’s Scott Birdsall and Kevin Barr met with Lloyd Townsend from Ison and after a month of testing and market research Lloyd’s team were keen to proceed with the introduction BZ into the UK.
The brandwas established when Birdshall approached long time friend Kevin Barr to assist in developing a sunglass for cyclists who wear glasses to read 24 hours of the day. The glasses were to have full UV protection but be clear pre dawn then darken as UV and sunlight intensified plus have high impact lenses to protect the wearer from projectiles and road litter.
