On Saturday June 11th Penny Farthings will take to the streets of London as part of a Brooks sponsored race.
Thirty racers have already been confirmed for the Brooks Penny Farthing Race, part of the IG Markets London Nocturne, but only experienced riders are being encouraged to join in the unusual event.
“We try to introduce a new feature race each so we jumped at the chance to include Penny racing in the programme” commented Nocturne founder James Pope.
“There is an established Penny Farthing community across the world and we will have competitors from USA, Europe and even Tasmania travelling to London to race. One Penny Farthing is enough to turn heads so having 30 of them race on the London streets will be spectacular.”
