A new non-competitive cycle event has been announced for London on May 19th by Brompton.
The Brompton Urban Challenge will see participants cross the UK capital using skill and ingenuity rather than speed, completing Brompton-based challenges and picking up points by photgraphing the bikes in different places and scenarios. Participants’ photos will be uploaded as the day progresses, allowing those not taking part to keep up.
Taking its cue from the Milan-held Urban Challenge last autumn, 125 places are available for the event, with registration opening tomorrow (Wednesday) at midday. Photos from the event will be auctioned off for charity Re-Cycle.
