Eight main bike brands, nutrition and baggage brand to demo product

British Mountain Bike Demo Series kicks off this weekend

Saturday, 6th March, will see the British Mountain Bike Demo series get underway after months of planning.

Eight of the UK’s top bike brands, namely; Specialized, Giant, Trek, Gary Fisher, Genesis, Yeti, Santa Cruz and Merida will be at Glentress to offer up an amazing assortment of mountain bikes that can be taken on test rides with proof of ID. This is undoubtedly one of the biggest gathering of bike brands for demo purposes. To top it all the demo rides be situated in the bottom car park with The Hub close at hand.

You’ll also find representatives from nutrition brand Accelerade handing out free samples of its product. Osprey backpacks will also be on hand, showing off its latest cyclist-suited storage.

The Demo kicks off at 10am and will run until 4pm. There’s no need to pre book, just turn up with two forms of ID, which should either include a driving licence or passport and either a credit or debit card. The Demo itself is free, but event organisors ask that you pay the normal car park charges, as all that money will be going to trail maintenance and construction.

Five further demo dates are planned, with the next taking place at Sherwood Pines on the 27th and 28th of March, where World Champion DH rider Steve Peat will be making an appearance.
