British Cycling has lent its support to the Cycling Media Awards.
The national governing body for cycle racing in Great Britain is sponsoring the prestigious Cycling Media Legend award at this year’s Cycle Media Awards, which take place at Islington Metal Works, London on November 12th.
“British Cycling is delighted to be a supporter of the Cycling Media Awards – we know the media will praise us when we get things right and we welcome the scrutiny which holds us to account when we get things wrong,” commented communications and PA manager Scott Dougal.
“The health of cycling in this country is reflected by a vibrant and diverse media sector and these awards are an essential celebration of the successes of people without whom the sport would be much poorer.”
British Cycling joins Cycleguard as drinks reception partner for the evening, along with Cycle Alert which will be sponsoring the Cycling Advocate category on the evening.
Bringing together the nation’s top cycling journalists, photographers, bloggers, vloggers in one room, the Cycling Media Awards recognises and rewards the best in cycling media over the past 12 months.
