Surrey cycling hotspot could see 200,000 visitors – trade exhibitors welcomed

Box Hill Cycling Expo to run alongside Olympic road races

Box Hill is to host a cycling exhibition, co-inciding with the Olympic road racing and hosting a trade element, from July 27th through 30th.

Estimated to draw some 200,000 cycling fans to the area, the organisers are now calling on the trade to become involved. Four days trading, plus additional time on site for campers will provide ample custom. Corporate hospitality, sponsorship and advertising opportunites on site and within the programme handed to all visitors is also available.

Free to attend, visitors are promised a carnival atmosphere on site, with attractions for all the family. The Olympic rings are clearly visible high on the hillside. 25,000 goody bags are set to be handed out over the course of the exhibition.

Current exhibitors include Intrepid Apparel, Osprey, sunglasses retailer iOptix and freestyle stunt team Savage Skills. Between 25 to 30 more exhibitors could be accomodated and organisers ask those interested to get in touch.

Camping on site opens on July 14th and runs to July 30th. VIP hospitality for each race costs £75 and grants access to the The Tree pub, food, parking and a reserved viewing area outside to catch the race.
