Bontrager has added a number of new products to its triathlon line, with each coming Trek/K-Swiss Triathlon Team approved.
Showing the new goods at the Triathlon World Championships in Hawaii, alongside its much-acclaimed Aeolus D3 aero-wheel line, the brand debuted a new aerobar, dubbed the RXL Kammtail Virtual Foil, as well as never-before-seen XXX aero brake levers.
The RXL Kammtail Virtual Foil aerobar, developed alonsgide Trek, features a 31.8mm clamp for compatibility with standard stems and an aero profile that meets UCI regulations. With a large range of adjustability, the Bontrager RXL Kammtail Virtual Foil aerobar is marketed as an upgrade in fit, as well as speed.
“One of the features people love most about the Speed Concept, aside from the ride, is the range and ease of adjustability everything on the bike has. We wanted to bring that ability to dial in any bike to everybody,” said Bontrager brand manager Chris Clinton.
Based around the growing trend for wider rim profiles, Bontrager’s XXX levers offer a high level of adjustability to fine tune to a rider’s preferences. The lever offers tool-free brake pad adjustment to accommodate everything from traditional narrow rims to the new wide-profile Aeolus D3 aero rims, all at the turn of a dial. Easily-accessible lever reach adjustment makes the XXX highly adaptable for comfort.
