Bobbin Bicycles seek buyer for Globe boutique

Bobbin Bicycles owners Sian Emmison and Tom Morris are looking for a buyer for their award-winning Globe Store in London. The boutique is a collaboration between Bobbin and Specialized, and is the only bike shop featured on Time Out London’s top shops list.

Bobbin is moving into wholesale-only as they expand their own town bike and accessories lines in the UK and overseas. Bobbin bikes are available in Evans Cycles, on Wiggle and many independent retailers, via Bronx Cycles.

Bobbin is launching in New York in the Spring, following a first showing at Interbike Las Vegas. Stock will land in shops across Canada and the US from March, with much of it pre-booked.

Emmison and Morris are currently developing a retail consultancy programme for key dealers, offering merchandising advice and sales training specifically targeting female consumers and the town bike market.
