Birzman awarded patent for Snap-It Apogee

Birzman have been awarded a patent from the United States Patent Office for their award winning Snap-It Apogee.

The patent covers the innovative newly designed apogee, which features a shifting collar that allows the user to easily alternate betwen presta and schrader type valves, whilst the instant secure engagement feature means no blow-offs at high pressure. The patent was awarded to Birzman on February 2nd.

A representative from Birzman commented: "It is Birzmanā€™s goal to not only compete in the global market, but to change it! Birzman is committed to challenge conventions and create new and innovative solutions to tire inflation and bicycle maintenance. Once we create a one of a kind product, we pursue ways to protect our designs so that they remain one of a kind."
