The following is a Sponsored Article in Partnership with Moustache Bikes
Moustache Bikes was born from a simple yet powerful belief: the bicycle can change lives. From the very beginning, the ambition was clear — to make cycling more accessible, more enjoyable, and more meaningful through electric assistance.
A meeting, a vision, a shared passion
The story began in 2010, in the Vosges region of France, a place deeply rooted in nature, craftsmanship and strong human values. Manu, convinced that electric bikes would radically expand the use of bicycles, had been working on an e-bike project at a time when the market was still in its early days. Through a shared contact, he met Greg. They didn’t know each other, but they immediately connected through complementary skills, a shared passion for bikes, and a common vision.
Together, they decided to take a bold step: to create a brand 100% dedicated to e-bikes, with no compromise on quality, design or usability.

Born electric, born different
From day one, Moustache Bikes was designed around innovation and bold choices. In 2016, the brand once again challenged conventions by launching the Hidden Power concept — a pioneering solution integrating Bosch PowerPack batteries directly into the frame on its mountain bike ranges. Moustache was the first brand to successfully achieve this level of integration, setting new standards in design, aesthetics and protection for e-MTBs.
The partnership with Bosch, established from the very beginning, has remained a cornerstone of the brand’s DNA, ensuring reliability, performance and continuous technological progress at the heart of every Moustache bike.

A human adventure rooted in the Vosges
Moustache has always been deeply connected to its territory. In 2018, the company reached a major milestone with the move to its current site in Thaon-les-Vosges, a 10,000 m² industrial facility bringing together offices, R&D, assembly and logistics under one roof.
This development marked a new chapter, enabling the brand to support its growth while preserving its human scale, its family spirit and its commitment to local know-how.
In 2023, the site was further expanded with an additional 3,200 m², fully aligned with Moustache’s environmental ambitions. This new space is 100% powered by renewable energy, thanks to a roof entirely covered with photovoltaic panels. It also features a rainwater recovery system and electric vehicle charging stations, reflecting a long-term approach to sustainability.
And in 2026, Moustache Bikes now employs 170 people, all driven by the same passion for bikes and the same desire to create meaningful mobility solutions.

Opening up new ways to ride
From urban mobility to mountain biking, daily commuting to long-distance adventures, Moustache Bikes has continuously expanded its range to cover all types of use. Each model is developed with the same philosophy: just the right balance between comfort, performance, equipment and durability.
Design plays a central role — not as an end in itself, but as a tool to enhance usability and riding pleasure. Clean lines, integrated components, distinctive frames and iconic handlebars give every Moustache bike an instantly recognisable identity, combining functionality with a touch of French elegance.

More than a bike brand
Moustache is more than a manufacturer — it is a brand with a strong personality and imagination. Humour, creativity and freedom of tone run through its products and communications, reminding everyone that riding a bike should always remain a pleasure.
From the first users who rediscovered cycling thanks to electric assistance, to families, commuters and athletes who changed their daily habits, Moustache bikes have proven, year after year, that small innovations can lead to big changes in everyday life.
Looking ahead
Faithful to its origins and values, Moustache Bikes continues to innovate, explore new uses and push the boundaries of electric mobility — always guided by the same conviction:
bikes have the power to change lives.

UK sales representation
Moustache Bikes has also reinforced its commercial presence in the UK through a structured and locally focused sales organisation. The brand works with two dedicated representatives covering the territory to ensure close relationships with retailers and consistent support across the country.
Antonin Osmik (Venku Ltd), representing Moustache alongside Bike Folder, works with an established dealer network while continuing to explore new partnership opportunities in untapped areas.
“It’s good to see the existing dealer base weathering the recent stormy market conditions and starting to pick up again. Moustache bikes have performed consistently well. With competitive offering for 2026 I can foresee this continuing”
“The new 2026 range really shows what Moustache is about – premium quality, smart design and most importantly, giving people a reason to leave the car at home. Whether it’s cargo, tandem or trekking bikes, there’s something for everyone. I’m looking forward to a strong 2026 season,” says Antonin.

Blair Whiteside (Cycle Ikot Ltd) represents Moustache Bikes in the northern part of the UK and Ireland. Blair has been working alongside Moustache since 2018 so has a strong understanding of Moustache and its brand values, his main focus is working closely with established Moustache retail partners, helping the retailers to grow their sales in the electric bike category.
In what has been a turbulent market in the last 2 years, Cycle iKot’s has seen very strong sales growth and is currently projecting the same again on 2026.
Blair says there is still room for good growth from our current retail partners and opportunities to onboard new retailers in areas where we do not currently have representation, giving perspective Moustache customer easier access to the brand.
This on-the-ground organisation reflects Moustache’s commitment to building a strong, long-term retail network in the UK, providing responsive support and ensuring that dealers are fully equipped to represent the brand and its products.
