BikeBiz trade lounge returns to Bike&Tri show

Trade exhibitors and visitors to the Bike and Traithlon Show in Manchester will once again be able retreat to the quiet of the BikeBiz trade lounge over the weekend of March 8th/9th.

Furthermore, the trade lounge will provide visitors the opportunity to sit in on trade seminars, including one from Red Cloud’s Mark Almond, who will deliver a detailed seminar on how bike shops can improve their marketing to increase turnover and profit.

Colin Gale, event manager at the Hamerville Media Group, commented: “The Bike Biz Lounge will form a strong element of the show, and it’ll be a great place for exhibitors to relax or find out more about the latest on consumer promotion and sales development.

“We have some exciting names involved in the Trade Lounge and we will be announcing more strong exhibitors in the coming weeks.”

Citrus Lime, who provides fully integrated multi-channel solutions for cyclist retailers, will also be involved in the Trade Lounge.

Last year’s debut show welcomed more than 6,000 people through the doors and as a result the organisers, Hamerville Media Group, has expanded the exhibition space by 33 per cent for the next event.

Among those confirmed to exhibit so far are Cervelo, Rose, KTM, Starley, Champion Systems, Matrix, Roux, ADR Carbon and Fiz’ik. And from the world of triathlon USN, Ceepo, Rotor, Compress Sport, Blueseventy, Zoot, Lezyne, Speedfi and Compex.

Sports Tours International are also among the exhibitors who have signed up for the second year of the Bike and Triathlon Show, and they will be hosting an interactive Sports Café where visitors will be able to get advice about their next sporting event.

There will be a variety of interactive features at the show including the ‘Street Velodrome’, the only pop-up track racing style cycle event, which is set to tour the UK during 2014 as a televised series. Visitors will also have the chance to test out unique cycle sport RollaPaluza, where participants battle it out on a pair of custom-built rollers connected to a huge dial, over a simulated 500m distance

The Bike and Triathlon Show will take place at Manchester Central over the weekend of Saturday 8th and Sunday (suggested trade visit day) 9th March 2014.
