The team at BikeBiz is proud to announce the latest evolution in our digital journey: the launch of the official BikeBiz Podcast!

While this marks our first foray into a long-form monthly series, it is a move that builds on a busy 12 months. Throughout 2025, we expanded our multimedia presence, branching further into YouTube with shorts from major trade shows and event visits. We also introduced our ‘mini pods’, focused, 15-20 minute conversations with industry figures, as well as sharing behind-the-scenes video highlights from factory tours and visits.

The BikeBiz Podcast is the natural culmination of that strategy, offering a deeper, more consistent way to engage with the stories shaping our trade.

Growing to Offer More

“This is an exciting launch for us,” says Lauren Jenkins, Editor of BikeBiz. “It’s something that has been worked on behind the scenes last year in preparation for launch this month. To grow, we know we have to meet our audience where they are, and the podcast is part of that strategy.”

Hosted by Pedro Couto Lopes, host of the Ride to Success podcast, the new series will drop in the final week of every month. By shifting into a video podcast format, we hope that our content remains more accessible to the industry.

“Not everyone has time to read, so we’re constantly looking at new ways we can expand what we offer to the BikeBiz audience. Podcasting isn’t exactly new, but it’s new to us, and we’re looking forward to getting stuck in. A big thank you to Pedro, our host, who is going to be bringing his expertise to the podcast!”

Pedro Couto Lopes

It’s a real honour to be trusted by BikeBiz, a publication with more than two decades of credibility and influence at the heart of the cycling industry. Being asked to host the BikeBiz Podcast feels like recognition of my ability to bring the industry’s key voices to life, and I’m excited to help continue BikeBiz’s role as the go-to media for UK cycling industry insight.

It’s also a great opportunity to open new conversations, explore the B2B side of the business, and share that enthusiasm for life on a bike with a wider audience. Working in the industry, for the industry, feels like a natural next step, and being asked to host a brand-new podcast for a 20+ year title doesn’t happen every day – Pedro Couto Lopes
