John Sergeant, the former political correspondent who became cuddly after his 2008 appearance on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, is now a reporter for BBC’s One Show and in March filmed a segment about e-bikes. Paul Stanforth of Ebco bikes was on hand to show Sergeant how to operate one of the company’s pedal-assist e-bikes.
BikeBiz executive editor Carlton Reid was filmed riding with Sergeant, with Reid on a non-electric Brompton.
The filming took place at Harewood House, near Harrogate, and a suburb of Leeds. The segment airs tonight, with the show starting at 7pm on BBC1.
