Rutland, Wiggle and Evans take the honours at this year’s prize giving

BIKEBIZ AWARDS 2011: The Retail winners

Some of the biggest names in UK retail competed for the top prizes at the BikeBiz Awards 2011.

But on the night there could only be a handful of winners, including – once again – Rutland Cycling for the Independent Retail award. For the second year running the East Midlands shop snapped up the coveted prize.

And it was a familiar name that beat stiff competition to win the Online Retailer prize this year. Wiggle picked up the accolade for an unprecedented third year in a row. Can the firm make it four in a row next year?

Evans Cycles picked up the remaining retail prizes at the 2011 BikeBiz Awards, including the hard fought High Street Chain. Evans regained the title after losing out on it last year and compounded the victory by winning the brand new Retail Workshop award.

Electra Bicycles is Premium Partner for the 2011 BikeBiz Awards. This year’s Events Partners were Koga Bicycles, Citrus-Lime and Cycle-SOS.
