BIKEBIZ AWARDS 2011: The Media and Brand winners

Two hundred members of the cycle industry gathered for the BikeBiz Awards last night at the Hilton Metropole, NEC.

Road.cc and Future’s Cycling Plus were the winners for the media awards at this year’s BikeBiz Awards, with Road.cc claiming Consumer Site for the third year in a row.

Brompton proved its continued popularity by picking up Bike Brand, while Australian favourite Knog won the Parts and Accessories Brand this year.

Cycle Systems Academy snapped up the Rising Star accolade for its growth over the past 12 months, while the Bike Hub Smartphone App was a runaway success in the new Retail Marketing Initiative prize, introduced for the first time this year.

Electra Bicycles is Premium Partner for the 2011 BikeBiz Awards. This year’s Events Partners were Koga Bicycles, Citrus-Lime and Cycle-SOS.
