Visitors to the park projected at 100,000 per year

Bike retailer opportunity at Kent’s huge new Cyclopark

A 111m2 retail space is available in the newly opened sports park Cyclopark near Gravesend.

The huge Cyclopark facility, backed by Chris Boardman,Jamie Staff and Sports Minister Hugh Robertson is looking for a forward looking, dynamic cycle/sports retailer as part of the 43hectares cycle sports park.

The 112 m2 retail space is located within the Cyclopark Pavilion and will be fully serviced.

Cyclopark is reportedly the largest cycle park in Europe, as well as the largest single Olympic legacy project in Kent.

It was set up to provide dedicated facilities for local, national and international running, cycling and duathlon events and is the only one of its type in the UK. Visitor forecasts are projected at around 100,000 per annum, with participation spread across athletes in major events 4,400; local clubs 11,100; school groups/other events 13,850; and public sessions, spectators/visitors 67,000.

Ideally situated for London and continental Europe, Cyclopark says it has a massive drive time catchment (15mins – 180,000; 30 mins – 1.4million; 60 mins – 8 million) and is positioned on the A2 trunk road with high visibility for marketing and excellent road access. In addition, the site is just five minutes drive from Ebbsfleet International station.
