Cycling mirrors firm to be represented by PR specialists

Bike Eye appoints Red Cloud

Red Cloud has been appointed to handle Bike Eye’s marketing and PR activity in the UK and North America.

The Bedfordshire based company will work closely with Bike-Eye’s founder, Tony McGuinness to develop communication strategies for the brand in the UK as well as work with its North American distributors to establish Bike-Eye in the US and Canadian markets.

Bike-Eye’s range of down tube mounted mirrors has enjoyed increased sales success in the UK since striking distribution deals with Fisher Outdoor and Reece Cycles earlier this year.

High profile users of the mirror such as TV cycling commentator Phil Liggett have long since praised the product for its effectiveness in raising a rider’s awareness of their surroundings.

Speaking of the appointment, Bike-Eye’s Tony McGuinness said: “Bike-Eye is going from strength to strength. Demand is increasing and retailers are reporting some very healthy sales numbers. However, we are keen to further support our retailers and help drive sales on their behalf. With Red Cloud’s national and international marketing expertise and the appointment of a respected North American distributor, Bike-Eye is set to grow on a global basis.”
