Bespoke Bicycle Club pop up bike shop arriving in Camden

A two-room shop at 69 Camden High Street will play host to a pop up bike store from March to April.

Named Bespoke Bicycle Club, the concept store will be dedicated to stylish cycling, showcasing products from up and coming independent brands including 8Ball Bicycles, Cycle Alert, Colossi Cycling, Hill & Ellis, Veglo, and Pilgrim Cycling, with more to be revealed over the coming weeks.

Open daily and featuring bicycles, frames, bags, lights, safety equipment, accessories and clothing, Bespoke Bicycle Club will also be playing host to a range of evening micro events such as a custom frame building evening, where the public can come and meet bespoke frame builders and gain an insight into the artisanal pursuit of working with steel, titanium, or even flax.

Keen to put a focus on cycle safety in London, Bespoke Bicycle Club participants including Cycle Alert and Veglo, opening up the discussion on staying safe on the capital’s roads.

Cycle Alert director Peter Le Masurier said: “Not only will Bespoke Bicycle Club be providing a channel to showcase some of the best in British design, it will create a platform for conversation with the public, so these brands can continue to create and innovate according to the our customers’ needs and wants.”

The Bespoke Bicycle Club concept store is facilitated by the Camden Collective, a project aimed at putting Camden Town at the heart of the UK’s creative community, putting creative people into employment and setting up their own businesses. The regeneration programme builds on the cultural history and reputation of Camden Town to ensure a legacy of improved skills, enhanced employability and enterprise.
