Expanding its downhill, freeride, enduro and eMTB helmet range today is Bell, with the launch of the Air Series. Designed to combine “comfort, coverage, and protection,” Bell’s new Air Series offers a full-coverage design but with maximum ventilation and comfort as well as minimal weight. The new helmets are NTA electric bike certified, so customers can feel confident in the Full-Air design.
There are two helmets on offer: the Bell Full-Air Mips and the Bell 3QTR-Air Mips. The former retails for £249.99 and the latter £209.99.
BELL FULL-AIR MIPS
The security of a full-face with lightweight comfort and superior ventilation, the Full-Air Mips is made for when you are your own shuttle.
ASTM F1952-15 DH certified, this is a true full-face helmet but blended with many features and feels of a half-shell. It’s open, ventilated and lightweight, making it comfortable and cool when pedaling. A modular cheek pad system allows you to remove sections to allow greater air flow or add them for extra security, and a Fidlock ® buckle closure keeps things easy and breezy around the chin. Clever quick-release action camera mount under the visor which is perfect for capturing POV runs.
The Full-Air MIPS is a heavy-hitting lightweight wonder for those who pedal to the top and attack all the way down.

The 3QTR-Air Mips is based on the design features and technologies of the Full-Air MIPS but without the chin bar, making it even more adapted to keeping you cool and comfortable when pedaling.
With the Fidlock® magnetic closure buckle, Dual Flow Ventilation™ and lightweight construction, this helmet offers a half-shell construction while providing reassuring coverage around the upper neck and jaw. This extra protection, plus trusted Mips® technology, keeps safety at the forefront for those not wishing to wear a full-face.
