Belhaven Bikes to be plugged in Small Business Saturday campaign

Small Business Saturday will promote one business per day on social media in the run-up to its annual event on 2nd December. And one of the 100 businesses to be plugged is Belhaven Bikes of East Lothian.

The business boosting promotion has been running for five years and is the antithesis to Black Friday and Cyber Monday. In 2016, Small Business Saturday estimated that customers spent £717m on the day, an increase of 15 percent on the previous year.

The event is supported by 82 percent of UK councils, many of whom award grants for promotions, close off streets and support markets and fairs.

Small Business Saturday has also launched a Small Business Finder app to help customers find their local retailers.
