Parisian helmet firm produces carbon fibre lids for the style conscious

BEG Bicycles to distribute Casqu’En ville helmet catalogue

Parisian cycle helmet manufacturer Casqu’En Ville is to be available in the UK via BEG Bicycles.

Aimed at those looking for a bit more flair from their lid, the lightweight carbon fibre helmets can be worn alone, or with one of a collection of twenty covers. Six sizes, including children’s models are in stock now.

Retailing at £85.00 for a helmet and hat combination, the wearer can customise their look with the firm’s range of £29.50 covers, which include styles such as Tweed and a fur-lined chapka.

The helmets conform to full EU safety standards and are made with an adjustable strap and a fully-lined rim and interior padding.

BEG Bicycles’ sales director Catherine Turner has said she has always wanted to work more closely with Casqu’En Ville, having first met the brand’s founder Sophie Merlin several years ago whilst living in Paris.

“We jumped at the opportunity to partner such an on-trend brand. The market for cycling products that have style and practicality at their core is exploding and we are very aware that cyclists are seeking out high quality cycling products that reflect their own sense of style. Thankfully, the days of the geeky helmet are long-gone and we have found here at BEG that our customers are delighted at how chic – and discrete the helmets are when they try them on.

"The helmets also make fabulous gifts, selling very well at Christmas, and thanks to the seasonal styles of
‘hats’, encourage repeat business. Fashion-conscious customers love the fact they not only look so good, but also that they can simply switch their wintery, fur lined trapper hat for a cool, summery cap in summer. We’re really excited at the prospect of getting these chic helmets out into the British dealer network.”

Dealers should email or phone 01223 655222 for a catalogue and trade prices.
