BBB calls on cyclists to help shape future product lines

P&A brand BBB has set up the BBB ThinkTank – a user platform where customers will be able to help shape future cycling products.

As well as having chance to influence BBB product development, members will have the opportunity to win prizes.

The brand explained: "For instance a BBB Think Tank member can help us pick the best design of new products or come up with new product names."

First on ThinkTank drawing board is Handlebar tape, which BBB admits isn’t the first product you think about when thinking of bicycle parts with a lot of technical input. But, the brands says: "What about thickness, structure, fixation and color of the handlebar tape? They all have influence on how much you enjoy your rides. That’s why BBB ThinkTank’s first project is about this important cycling gear. By completing a short questionnaire the ThinkTank user will contribute to the development of a new BBB handlebar tape."

BBB RaceRibbon handlebar tapes will be given away to ten of the ThinkTank members and the survey results will also be published online.
