Avocet Sports has launched three entry-Level BMX bikes with a football theme to attract the footie-crazy customers ahead of the World Cup.
The ‘Kick It’ model will come in 16, 18 and 20-inch wheel sizes. The model doesn’t however refer to a pscific nation, squad or footballing event, so the stock won’t go stale.
Wayne Clarke told Bikebiz "The image of the bikes is very football focussed without specifically referring to England or the World Cup. So unsold stocks after the fever dies down will still sell through. A lot of youngsters are football crazy and the models will stay in the range for the whole of the 2010 season."
