Scheme begins on March 30th. IBDs advised not to approach Asda

Asda and Cyclescheme – what’s the deal for Dealers?

As you will have seen from the recent news release, Asda has nominated Cyclescheme to facilitate the Government’s tax-free cycle to work scheme for its 165,000 UK employees.

Also, as stated in the release, Asda will be responsible for informing its staff and their process flow will be publicised by Asda’s People Team. IBDs are advised not to contact their local store unless advised to do so, as this may cause misunderstanding in the store and is against the desires of Asda.

Asda’s participation in the scheme starts on the 30th of March and they will be communicating the scheme to their employees from this date onwards.

Matt Ward of Aftermarket brand management told BikeBiz: "We ask that IBDs bear with us in this exciting time to ensure that all procedures are adhered to in-line with existing agreements between Asda and Cyclescheme. We will give you more information and news over the coming weeks."
