Arc’teryx Equipment, the global design company specialising in technical, high‑performance apparel and equipment, launches the Rhoam mountain bike kit. Designed and tested in the Coast Mountains of British Columbia, this limited‑time apparel capsule is designed for all‑mountain trail riding, built for riders who move through changing conditions, hard climbs, and technical descents.

Located on Vancouver’s North Shore, the Arc’teryx Design Centre is surrounded by world‑class trail networks. For years, dedicated riders within the design and development team have long relied on Arc’teryx gear to stay dry, warm, and protected through the region’s unpredictable elements.

“Our team spent countless hours riding in some of the toughest conditions on the North Shore; this capsule is the result of mountain athletes designing for how they ride, move, and experience the outdoors.” ASHLEY ANSON, VP DESIGN

Drawing on more than 35 years of experience designing gear for mountain athletes, Rhoam carries Arc’teryx design DNA into a new space. What began as an internal passion project naturally grew into a fully realised capsule. Shaped by countless hours on the bike in the harshest Pacific Northwest conditions, the Rhoam kit has been tested, validated, and refined on the nearby trails, becoming the brand’s first mountain bike kit.

“Our heritage is rooted in building gear for people who live and thrive in the mountains, and that includes our own team. Many of us ride, our athletes ride. Mountain biking is part of our culture,” said Ashley Anson, VP Design at Arc’teryx. “When we set out to create our first mountain bike kit, we applied the same technical expertise used in our climbing and snow shells to deliver perfect articulation for on‑bike body positioning. Our team spent countless hours riding in some of the toughest conditions on the North Shore; this capsule is the result of mountain athletes designing for how they ride, move, and experience the outdoors.”

The Rhoam kit includes a men’s and women’s jacket, pant, and short, combining precise articulation with hybrid material mapping, integrated layering systems, and equipment compatibility. Each piece is engineered to offer lasting comfort, protection, and freedom of movement.

  • Hybrid material mapping provides targeted protection and thermoregulation, while articulation and stretch ensure mobility and comfort on and off the bike.
  • Ride‑specific features are integrated across the kit, including a kneepad‑ready design, bike‑helmet‑compatible StormHood™, secure lower‑back pocketing system, Velcro cuffs, and drawcord hem.
  • Gender‑specific fits deliver a full range of motion and coverage.

The collection includes:

  • Rhoam Hybrid Jacket – Men’s & Women’s – £400
A rugged mountain biking hardshell that shakes off showers as easily as it does steep climbs. Intentional, mountain bike–specific body mapping uses a combination of stretch softshell for breathability in key areas and waterproof GORE-TEX everywhere else to fend off the elements. Fully helmet-compatible to maximise peripheral vision, the StormHood™ keeps you covered through every jump, bump, and berm on or off the trail.
  • Rhoam Pant – Men’s & Women’s – £260
Mountain-bike specific pants with breathable fabric panels on the waistband and behind the knees help you ditch excess heat, while a water-repellent finish helps you shed whatever water comes your way.
  • Rhoam Short – Men’s & Women’s – £160
Stretchy, durable mountain bike shorts cut to fit kneepads and how you ride.
