Apidura expands in Australia with SCV Imports appointed as exclusive distributor

Apidura has announced its expansion in Australia with an exclusive distribution partnership with SCV Imports, who will now supply the brand’s technical bikepacking products to the Australian market.

Having built several key relationships with distributors around the world, and following mutual success in New Zealand via Wide Open Distribution, the addition of SCV is a natural progression for the brand.

George Huxford, general manager at Apidura, said: “Apidura was founded on the premise of making high-quality bikepacking gear accessible to riders wherever they are in the world.

“Having quality partners around the globe to help us spread our vision is key to this aim and we are extremely excited to welcome SCV Imports into the extended Apidura team.”

Partnering with SCV means retailers have access to efficient shipping, as well as in-country support for Apidura products.

Apidura products are available to order now, and retailers are encouraged to reach out to SCV Imports directly.

Stuart Voysey, CEO at SCV Imports, added: “SCV represents best of breed brands, products that are built to last and go the distance. That has enabled us to gain a great reputation with our retailers and end users.

“We are not bogged down processing warranties so we can concentrate on promoting, backing and delivering stock swiftly. Apidura not only plays in the segments of the market that we play in, but the products also fit our ethos. Best of breed and made to last.”

Earlier this year, Apidura launched the Packable Visibility Vest. The product combines the EN 17353 certification and the race fit and packability of a lightweight gilet.

Its minimal design is purely focused on visibility, rather than adding warmth or waterproof elements, resulting in a garment suitable for year-round use.

With a range of fit and adjustability, the vest can be worn over a jersey, or a bulky layer such as a down jacket.
