Creator of the Brompton bicycle and Cambridge Engineering graduate Andrew Ritchie will be giving a talk on his invention and the folding bike sector next month.
Speaking at the Gallery in London on Wednesday September 1st, Ritchie will focus on how he came up with the Brompton.
Ritchie will chart how he guided the Brompton Bicycle Company from its first production facility in a railway arch to become reportedly the largest bicycle manufacturer in the UK, producing 26,000 bikes per year and the last transport manufacturer of any kind based in London.
Thirty five years on, Bromptons are now sold in 22 countries.
