AiRO has announced a major global milestone, expanding its approved fitter network to 100 fitters worldwide.
Launched in July 2025, the AI-powered aerodynamic fit platform developed by aerodynamics expert Ingmar Jungnickel has quickly gained traction with performance fitters, coaches, and elite fit studios looking to bring reliable aerodynamic data into the fit process without the cost, travel, and logistical barriers of traditional wind tunnel testing.
AiRO says its approved fitter network now includes true global partners across North America, Europe, Australia, South America and Japan. The growing network includes independent performance fitters, elite fit studios, coaches, and multiple leading WorldTour Teams, all of whom use AiRO to achieve significant performance gains.

Fitters have always been asked to help riders get faster, but until now, reliable aerodynamic testing has been difficult to access. AiRO works by building a rider’s personalised 3D Digital Aero Twin from uploaded photos and key rider information. Fitters can then recreate the rider’s baseline position, test positional changes, compare equipment options such as helmets, and run CFD simulations to understand how those changes affect drag, CdA, watts saved, and speed.
According to AiRO, it also reached another important milestone last month, with fitters completing more than 1,100 simulations in a single month and totalling more than ten thousand simulations. If those had been traditional wind tunnel sessions, the cost could have exceeded $2 million. Instead, AiRO says it gives fitters access to wind tunnel-level aerodynamic data for a few hundred dollars per session, a reason they believe has quickly made it such a popular tool.
The result is a data-backed process that helps move fit decisions beyond guesswork. AiRO was designed to bring the power of aerodynamic testing to more riders and more fitters, without replacing the skill and experience of a professional bike fitter. Instead, it gives fitters another layer of information to help confirm what is working, test what might be faster, and give riders proof behind the final position.
AiRO says its continued growth also reflects a shift in what riders expect from a modern fit experience. As aero road bikes, gravel racing, triathlon, and performance-focused endurance events continue to grow, more riders are looking for ways to improve efficiency without simply buying another component.
