Air-powered pogo stick ‘too dangerous for kids’

RetailWeek reports that Hamleys chairman Simon Burke has banned children from using the Airgo in store.

"We’ve been trying it out in our offices and, you wouldn’t believe it, but they can go several feet in the air," said Burke.

"The last thing we wanted was to end up with children’s feet sticking out of the ceiling."

The Airgo is distributed in the bike trade by Route 47, but – just like the ‘micro-scooter’ – other Far Eastern brands are rushing to build up enough stocks for the Xmas market.
