Ahooga, the Belgian folding bike brand has announced that it is now supplying UK dealers directly from stock held in the UK. The move follows what the brand has called a “positive first phase” in the British market, where Ahooga now works with 20 dealers, and comes with a clear ambition: to grow that network further.
“Dealers are central to Ahooga’s success, and UK demand grew after several test events this year,” says Hendrik Winkelmans, CEO of Ahooga. “UK riders and dealers should get the same level of service as anywhere else in Europe: bikes in stock, spare parts close by and no import paperwork.”
Built Around UK Dealers
Ahooga’s UK stock is now held at a fulfilment centre in Derby, next to the M1 and A50, which according to the brand, puts most of mainland Great Britain within a next-day trunk route. Dealers receive their bikes three days after ordering, with no container or pallet minimums, so a shop can order a single bike when it needs one.

Ahooga says it handles all customs declarations and import VAT, and that dealers don’t have to deal with clearance paperwork or unexpected invoices. Spare parts are also stocked in the UK rather than shipped from Belgium per order, and the UK site provides pre-delivery inspection, warranty work and battery diagnostics, so dealers can look after their customers locally.
“Demand from UK riders is growing, and our dealers need to answer it quickly,” says Massimiliano Colosimo, Head of Sales at Ahooga. “They asked for shorter lead times and no customs paperwork. Now a shop can order a single bike, have it in three days and give its customer a clear delivery date. In 2027, we will back our dealers further by being present at a range of UK fairs and cycling events.”
A Growing Dealer Network
Ahooga’s UK growth follows the same dealer-first approach that has built its network of more than 150 dealers across Europe. Dealers work directly with Ahooga, with no distributor in between, supported by UK sales agents Mike Clark (London and South East) and Ralf Krause (rest of the UK and Northern Ireland). Bike shops interested in becoming an Ahooga dealer can apply at be.ahooga.bike/en/pages/become-a-dealer.
According to Ahooga, fairs and events will play a central role in that growth. Dealers are invited to join the Ahooga team at the booth, where visitors can test ride the Max and be connected with their nearest dealer.
