Adriano Nascentes has been promoted to general manager of Cycling Sports Group Europe, Dorel’s cycling division in Europe. He continues to be based in Oldenzaal in the Netherlands. Nascentes was previously the chief operating officer for the division. Prior to that, he was for six years the COO for Caloi, Dorel’s business in Brazil.
“Adriano brings a strong record in delivering results to CSG Europe,” said Dorel president and CEO Peter Woods. “I am confident that he will bring a new perspective and positive change to CSG Europe."
Nascentes will focus on building strong relationships with CSG’s European customer base as the team in Europe brings the MY18 product to market, said a Dorel statement.
Earlier in his career, Nascentes held a series of positions at Kraft Foods and Deloitte in both the US and Brazil.
As a result of this change, Elwin deValk will be leaving Dorel.
"We wish Elwin all the best in his future endeavours," said Woods.
