3 West Design has come up with a bike saddle that targets the perineal area in two ways to add comfort in the saddle.
Now ready for market after a successful showing on Kickstarter, the Reprieve saddle has a 3/4-inch dropped midsection, with a triangle cut that mimics the perineum. The shape allows the sit bones to absorb most of the rider’s weight.
There’s also an air bladder that is adjustable, creating what the brand calls an "Active Surface" to avert the formation of hot spots, Jon Marceleno told BikeBiz.
