Limar, the Italian helmet brand, has appointed Adaptive DCS as its exclusive sales representative in the UK.

As well as strengthening Limar’s position in the market, this strategic move is aiming to offer retailers and consumers improved support.

A new commercial set-up is also intended to expand Limar’s presence in the UK, benefiting from Adaptive DCS’ in-depth industry knowledge and experience.

Limar has been in business for more than 35 years, and is best-known for combining Italian style with advanced technological research to offer a number of leading helmets and glasses to the cycling market.

A new product range will be distributed in the UK, including the latest helmet models and a new eyewear collection, both of which have already been successful in international markets.

Dale Vanderplank, Adaptive DCS director and co-owner, commented: “We are incredibly proud to add Limar to our business. It fits our niche perfectly as a premium Italian brand, sitting in harmony with our bikes from 3T and UDOG cycling shoes, both fellow high-end Italian brands.

“With Limar’s 35 years of leading helmet technology, our wealth of industry expertise, and our shared passion for cycling, we think this new distribution partnership can deliver the best customer experience moving forward.”

Adaptive will be on hand to build on the solid relationships already in place with existing Limar stockists to ensure a seamless transition while looking for new retailers.

Tiziana Santoni, marketing manager and co-owner at Limar, added: “We are confident that Limar’s new products for road, gravel, MTB/enduro, and urban/e-bike will be appreciated by customers in the UK, and we are looking forward to this exciting new collaboration with Adaptive.”

The brand will be showcased at the National Cycling Show this weekend at the NEC, alongside 3T and UDOG.
