Partnership aims to deliver 650 bikes to those in need in Ghana

Abel & Cole team with Re-Cycle for Village Bicycle Project

Organic veg box supplier Abel & Cole has linked with Re-Cycle in the hope of collecting 650 unused bikes for the next Village Bicycle Project drop in Ghana.

Through September and October the firm and the chairty are seeking donations, with the veg box supplier hosting a ‘Wheelie Big Bike Drop’ at its Winbledon depot on Saturday September 25th.

Londoners are urged to swing by with any unwanted bicycles or working bicycle parts.

On the following Saturday, October 2nd, bikes can also be dropped at Abel & Cole depots from 9am until 1pm in:
London – Wimbledon
Cheshire – Warrington
Hampshire – Andover
Staffs – Tamworth
Kent – Maidstone
Essex – Ongar

Volunteers are also sought for helping prepare bikes for shipment – more about that here.
