Website Recyke y’bike

About Us
Recyke y’Bike is a bike recycling charity based in Byker and Chester-le-Street. We have just celebrated our 20th birthday and are going from strength to strength.Â
At Recyke y’bike, we believe that bikes are a great way to address a range of social,
economic and environmental issues (transport poverty, health inequalities, mental health, unemployment) as well as being really fun! With this belief and passion, we are committed to empowering more people to have access to a bike alongside the skills to keep it working.Â
We do this by taking unwanted bikes and refurbish them with a team of volunteers. The bikes are then either given to individuals who have been referred to us or sold in our retail stores. Alongside refurbishing bikes, we offer commercial servicing and repairs, and sales of new and second-hand bike parts and accessories.
