PEMBREE’s all-new Gravity Cockpit System (GCS) range of products is now available online and in-store through select dealers and distributors.
The GCS range is PEMBREE’s gravity-focused cockpit system, comprising the new GCS Handlebar, CNC-machined GCS Stem, and all-new GCS Performance Grips. The brand says each new component has been designed in the UK and tested with leading riders, with a focus on high-performance, gravity-focused riding.

PEMBREE GCS Stem – £130.00
CNC-machined in the UK, the PEMBREE GCS Stem is manufactured from aluminium sourced from our key suppliers, containing at least 75% recycled aluminium. To ensure long-lasting performance and rider safety, the GCS Stem has been tested and approved with EFBE – TRI-TEST® GR certification and, through our PEMBREE+ extended warranty programme, comes with a lifetime warranty.
A wider clamping area, along with high-quality M6 stainless steel bolts and washers, ensures a secure hold under even the most demanding race conditions. Each GCS Stem features an alignment guide machined into the body for easy handlebar alignment with the PEMBREE GCS Handlebars.
The GCS Stem is currently available in a 35mm length, with more options coming soon, and is offered in both 31.8mm and 35mm handlebar clamp diameters. To ensure your new PEMBREE GCX Stem matches your ride, we offer six anodised colours: black, silver, pink, purple, bronze and turquoise.
PEMBREE GCS Handlebar – £85.00
Designed, developed and tested to meet the same EFBE – TRI-TEST® GR certification as our GCS Stem, the PEMBREE GCS Handlebar features proven, race-focused geometry to deliver exceptional control whether you’re riding in the Alps or racing urban downhill tracks in Chile.
Available in either 20mm or 40mm rise, and in 31.8mm or 35mm diameter options, the GCS Handlebar features 7° of backsweep and 5° of upsweep, and at 800mm wide, there’s plenty of room to cut them down to your perfect width.
The shot-peened finish increases strength and provides the ideal surface for a solid cockpit setup that will not shift, even when put through its paces. Two colour options are available: black and a standout silver finish, and each bar features alignment markings that match our GCS Stem for a perfect setup.
PEMBREE GCS Performance Grips – £25.00
Our ultra-soft 20a recycled rubber compound GCS Performance Grips have been designed to offer exceptional grip while reducing hand and arm fatigue on long race runs. Available in either thick (34mm) or thin (31mm) diameter options, the GCS Performance Grip features a tapered core made from recycled composite material to ensure a safe, non-slip interface with your handlebar.
The tapered design also means the GCS Performance Grip requires just a single lock-on collar, delivering greater comfort right to the very ends of the grip.
Of course, our GCS Performance Grips are also available with a range of anodised alloy collars to match our GCS Stem and D3A Pedals.
PEMBREE+ Extended Warranty
We believe in making products that last, not only from a performance and safety standpoint, but from a sustainability perspective too. If we can give you the means to rebuild and maintain your PEMBREE products, you can use them for longer, and that ultimately helps the environment.
For added peace of mind and to demonstrate our commitment to our product range, we’ve introduced PEMBREE+, a programme that currently offers customers extended warranties and half-price crash replacement, but we will soon be offering even more to PEMBREE+ members, building a community where we can share updates, special events, member-only competitions and limited-edition products.
Gaining access to PEMBREE+ is simple. Any product purchased through our website is automatically eligible. PEMBREE products bought through official dealers and stores can be registered for PEMBREE+ within 30 days of purchase; proof of purchase required. PEMBREE+ members will enjoy an increase in warranty length from the statutory two years to five years on our flat pedals, and a lifetime warranty on handlebars, stems, seat clamps and static seat posts. All products also benefit from a crash replacement policy that reduces the cost of replacement by 50 per cent.

We’re fully committed to reducing our carbon footprint and ensuring that what we do has as little impact on the environment as possible. That’s why we use recycled and recyclable materials, not just for our products, but for our packaging too.
Each PEMBREE product ships in recycled cardboard packaging with no single-use plastics. Even the humble zip tie has been replaced with a biodegradable, eco-friendly fibre alternative from FibreStrap.
