Wheels Manufacturing today announced the launch of its new MTB Chainrings for Shimano Direct Mount, expanding the company’s growing chainring programme with more options for modern trail and enduro drivetrains. CNC-machined in Colorado from premium 7075 aluminum, Wheels Manufacturing says these chainrings are built for “quiet engagement, confident chain retention, and reliable performance across steep climbs, fast descents, and long trail days.”
This release builds on Wheels Manufacturing’s SRAM 3-bolt direct mount chainrings, introduced in November 2025, and represents the next step in a much larger chainring roadmap. Additional mounting standards, tooth counts, and drivetrain-specific options will roll out as the line expands.
