Bikebook, the bicycle maintenance and workshop management platform, has announced a significant expansion of its operations through a strategic partnership with the iconic British heritage brand, Ribble Cycles.

Under this new agreement, bikebook will operate and manage the newly launched Ribble Service Network, a national network of accredited service centres designed to provide world-class local support for Ribble riders.

As elements of the cycling industry continue to evolve toward a direct-to-consumer model, this new partnership “solves a critical piece of the puzzle: local, high-quality maintenance”. By leveraging bikebook’s proprietary Workshop management software with its “extensive database of vetted mechanics”, Ribble riders can now access over 80 certified service locations across the UK.

The announcement highlights that “integration is seamless, with a bespoke bikebook search engine is now built directly into the Ribble website, allowing customers to locate their nearest Ribble-certified mechanic, view transparent fixed pricing, and book services instantly”.

“For years, the direct-to-consumer model had one missing link: convenient, local mechanical support,” says Jake Fieldsend, co-founder of bikebook. “By powering the Ribble Service Network, we are providing a national infrastructure of mechanics who know these bikes inside and out. This expansion isn’t just about growth for bikebook; it’s about setting a new industry standard for how brands support their riders long after the bike is delivered.”

For Ribble, the move represents a significant investment in the customer lifecycle. The network ensures that everything from routine safety checks to complex warranty inspections is handled by experts, reducing the need for customers to ship bikes back to a central headquarters.

Sean Hastings, Ribble CEO, said: “For years, we have supported our riders by making introductions to local bike workshops that our team know and trust. Ribble Service Network makes these relationships official, and with over 80 approved mechanics across the UK, it will be easier for riders to get expert support, fast and local to them.”

Key features of the Ribble Service Network:

  • Direct Integration: A bikebook-powered search and booking map integrated on RibbleCycles.co.uk.
  • Verified Expertise: Every OutPost is hand-picked and meets rigorous standards for quality and care.
  • Transparent Pricing: Fixed rates for services ranging from basic safety “M-Checks” to full “Gold” strip-down services.
  • Enhanced Support: Localised handling of warranty inspections and the fitting of genuine Ribble replacement parts.

This expansion follows bikebook’s recent recognition as one of the UK’s Top 100 Startups for 2026, further cementing its position as the “operating system” for the modern cycling workshop.
