The bike storage market is filled with everything from £2 wall hooks to entire sheds and units dedicated to keeping your bike out of your living room. But in recent years, design has somewhat stagnated, and that’s where Stashed aims to fill the void.

The Stashed bike storage system is not simply a hook and rail job, it’s an innovative design that could save workshops, dealers and the like up to 50% on storage space. That means more floor space for bikes, and more room for workstands. BikeBiz sat down and spoke to Anne Brillet, Head of Marketing at Stashed, to find out about the company and how Stashed is working to expand its B2B offerings.

Firstly, tell us about the Stashed brand. What inspired the company?

Elliot, our founder, built the company to solve a personal problem: having too many bikes. After many years as a product designer for some of the most prestigious climbing brands, Elliot set out to design his own bikes, thus resulting in having too many bikes at home. After many trials, samples, failures and successes, the SpaceRail was born.

Posting his creation on social media and racking 9 million views was the start of Stashed as a brand. A King’s Award for innovation and a stint on Dragon’s Den later, we’ve grown to a team of 14 members. We’re super excited for the next chapter of Stashed with brand new products dropping in 2026.

And what is it exactly that makes Stashed different to other bike storage solutions?

We pride ourselves on having products designed and manufactured in the UK. This allows us to have complete control over the manufacturing process and the quality of our products. Each rail, each hook is carefully inspected before dispatch. Aside from high quality and engineering, we always aim to solve a problem and not create a design for design’s sake. The SpaceRail is unique in that it allows you to save 50% of space compared with classic bike storage.

Since the brand’s inception, you’ve gone on to launch other ranges of products – tell us about them and why you’ve branched out.

We have indeed branched out to more mobile solutions of bike storage with our Freestanding SpacerRail and FreeWheel kits. We’ve also ensured that each bike was protected by LaunchPads and Pedal Wraps. Each product designed has resulted from an issue our customers have been facing and sharing with us. We collate feedback in order to feed our R&D process. And, there is more coming, so watch this space!

Anything else you’d like to add for the B2B market?

We particularly enjoy working with the B2B market as we feel that our products really solve an efficiency issue faced by many workshops and demo centres. We’re able to save space for our B2B customers as well as make their workshop work more efficiently as they can slide and grab any bike sorted on our systems. The thought leaders in the B2B market are in constant communication with our internal team to discuss the evolution of our products for the shop floor, thus trickling into new tech to help our B2C customers.
