2X2 to distribute Vario bikes

French downhill and trials specialists, Vario, have inked a deal with 2×2 distribution to bring their products to the UK and Eire. Vario have 15 years of experience in producing downhill specific components and bikes.

Emmanuel Descroix, Sales Director for Vario said;
“We have been looking for an appropriate partner in the UK to distribute our product range and 2×2’s attitude towards Vario products proves the willingness to establish a truly long-term partnership. Synergies between the innovations offered by Vario and 2×2’s positioning are the major assets that will guarantee the success of the project”

Scott Hillyard, Sales Director for 2×2 Ltd said;
“We chose to partner with Vario due to their fantastic reputation for quality products, their excellent understanding of the latest technological advances and their impressive race pedigree. The sophisticated product range covering DH, Free Ride, new Xtreme Ride, 4X, and Anti Squad XC amongst others will provide an elite group of retail stockists with the opportunity to offer real race proven machines with the back up they would expect. Vario’s commitment to the sport has been strengthened even further by the announcement last week that multiple World Champion Anne Caroline Chausson has signed a 2 year contract with them offering invaluable product design input and of course, racing expertise. 2×2 are constantly identifying new ways to improve our customer offering and relationships, and this partnership will promote further breadth of product coverage starting this year with the release of a revolutionary Race BMX model on which ACC will be expecting to win the Olympic Gold medal. It also increases opportunities by giving retailers something fresh and cutting edge.”

Product will be available from February 2008 and any prospective Vario retailer who would like further information should contact sales@2x2worldwide or contact the sales office on 01827 331099.
