2pure has announced a brand new exclusive distribution deal with De Marchi.

The distributor will supply De Marchi’s bicycle clothing to the UK trade following an agreement forged in March.

The family-owned brand has been making cycling gear for 60 years. Its lines are designed and manufactured in San Vendemiano, Italy, and has been worn by the likes of Fausto Coppi in the early 1950s and the current Team Ag2r.

The firms 2009 range will include high-end styled cycling wear featuring advanced chamoise technology.

“The De Marchi brand is a perfect addition to our portfolio,” commented 2pure MD George Bowie. “It is totally in keeping with our philosophy of distributing the very best quality products in a simple manner. We at 2pure are very excited at the prospect of working with a company with as much heritage and expertise as De Marchi.”

De Marchi MD Mauro Coccia added: “ We are very happy to begin this new partnership with 2pure, who have a great understanding of how to market & distribute great product to the bicycle trade. We are certain 2pure will do an excellent job for DeMarchi.

“We know 2pure will also provide excellent customer service to DeMarchi dealers in the UK, something that has been neglected over the past few seasons but is of utmost importance to us. We really appreciate the support of and belief in DeMarchi amongst UK dealers.”
