Interbike event returns to Pheonix, Arizona in January

2016 IBD Summit dates and venue announced

The 2016 Interbike-organised IBD Summit will take place from January 12th to 14th, returning to the Marriot Tempe at The Buttes in Pheonix, AZ.

Now entering its fifth year, the Summit’s dates have come forward slightly to avoid calendar clashes with other US events.

“We’re looking forward to furthering the conversations started at the 2015 IBD Summit, and continuing to refine the 12 Tenets,” said Pat Hus, Vice President of Interbike.

“This year was just the beginning of something we feel is incredibly important work. The foundations for change were laid at the 2015 Summit, but we will be going much deeper into solutions at Interbike and at next year’s Summit in an effort to drive progress. At the 2016 event, our intent will be to include more breakout group discussions and more panel presentations that address our industry’s challenges.”

For those who have not attended before, the Summit offers a large dynamic conference that includes top-level speakers, diverse panel presentations, breakout group discussions, extensive networking opportunities, along with great food and riding opportunities.

Around 250 people from 100 stores attended in 2015.

Registration is scheduled to open by June 1st, 2015 and preliminary content for the event is planned to be announced by mid-summer.
