i-Ride.co.uk has suffered a theft of 15 bikes and frames which were headed for its warehouse last week.
Thieves slashed the side curtains of the lorry, which was operated by i-Ride’s freight company, when it was parked up in Harlow, Essex.
“We would like to apologise to any of our customers who may have been waiting for these bikes and frames” said Andy Westlake, director “We have contacted Eddy Merckx stockists affected and are doing all we can to try and arrange replacements and of course welcome any information regarding the whereabouts of these bikes.”
