Expect over 40,000 visitors to this year's show, say organisers

1,100 exhibitors sign up for 20th Eurobike show

1,100 exhibitors are signed up to the 20th edition of the Eurobike show, which kicks off August 31st, running through to September 3rd.

Drawing a record sign up from 42 countries from all over the world and filling 100,000 square meters of floor space, show organisers have told BikeBiz ahead of the kick off: "We’re very happy with the number of exhibitors."

Organisers have flagged both electric bikes and 29ers as two key growth areas for this year’s show, stating that: "all the premiere manufacturers will be present on an expanded test track both indoors and on the open air grounds."

"Already before the Eurobike Party on Friday evening, the level of excitement is outstanding," says Messe Friedrichshafen CEO Klaus Wellmann.

Around 1,700 journalists, both cycling-specific as well as some mainstream press from 35 countries are expected to be reporting on the exhibition.
