Winners of the Cycling Plus Bike Of The Year 2016 awards announced

The 2016 winners of the Cycling Plus Bike Of The Year Awards were announced at the annual ceremony last night.

The event was well attended by an array of industry specialists including representatives from Cannondale, BMC, Bianchi and Genesis.

Cycling Plus Editor Rob Spedding hosted the award ceremony, which took place in Immediate Media’s Central London HQ, and was aided in unveiling the awards by senior technical editor Warren Rossiter.

A range of twelve bikes out of the fifty five tested picked up awards in a large variety of categories which covered a host of price points, comfort and advances in cycling tech.

The talk of the night was of course the official 2016 Bike Of The Year, which went to the highly praised Cannondale CAAD 12. Rossiter was quick to convey the bikes eligibility for the accolade, and commented that the decision was unanimous amongst the judges.
