Windwave gets behind Pendragon Sports/Le Col/Colnago in 2010

Windwave has revealed that it will sponsor the Pendragon Sports/Le Col/Colnago pro cycling team for the 2010 road season.

The South West-based team are aiming to race at the Nocturne Series, Premier Calendar, National Circuit series and the Tour Series – pending an invite – among other global and regional pro races.

Pendragon Spots continues its sponsorship from last year, while Le Col and Colnago are both new names to the team. The deal marks Le Col’s debut team sponsorship.

Windwave will supply Colnago framesets to the pro team, along with FSA components and Vision wheels.

Windwave MD Peter Nesbitt enthused: “This is our first time backing a full Premier Calendar team and we believe Pendragon Sports / Le Col / Colnago is perfect for us.”

“Not only does this give our new 2010 products like the Vision wheels exposure but the development side of the team is important to us. Coaching and developing the next generation of riders and generally getting more people on bikes is something we fully endorse.”
