Water off a Duck’s Back gets into John Lewis

The young, style-conscious British cycle clothing brand Water off a Duck’s Back has revealed that its clothes are now being stocked in John Lewis.

The two and a half year-old brand was set up with the intention to make British-made stylish cycle clothes. All of the clothes are made to look like normal coats, but have been specifically tailored for cycling and have nifty hidden reflective panels and are all waterproof and breathable.

"We are over the moon to be stocked in John Lewis," said MD Antonia Maybury. "It is fantastic that such a large British institution is supporting young British brands.

"Cycling has certainly come a long way in the past two years since we launched and is moving much more towards being a normal mode of transport rather than just a hobby for lycra clad men. This is reinforced by the fact that John Lewis have started stocking our stylish cycle coats."
