Vittoria invests in new testing facility

Vittoria’s manufacturing company Lion Tyres Thailand has recently completed work on a new state-of-the-art bicycle tyre/wheel testing centre at the rubber compound R&D complex in Thailand.

Vittoria is now looking to utilise the new facilities to test its products with scientific precision to ensure optimal performance under any circumstances.

The significantly upgraded and expanded testing facility allows Vittoria to simulate precise conditions related to all climate and weather scenarios, to test the quality of construction, durability, grip and monitor forced failure scenarios.

The added test abilities allow detailed wheel analysis and will further the development of Vittoria’s Perfect Match wheel and tire bead optimisation. The commissioning of the extensive test equipment is the final step for Vittoria to facilitate what the brand says is the top level of development and construction.

Shareholder Jan van Waas and Vittoria chairman Rudie Campagne visited Rayong on February 15th, 2017 to officially open the new facilities.
