Nick Hage has been promoted to general manager of the IBD division of Cycling Sports Group in the US. This will allow Russell Merry of the UK to concentrate on the UK business. Merry will remain in charge of CSG’s global parts and accessories division – which includes the innovations-focussed Fabric brand – and he will also provide strategic guidance to the CSG cycle business globally.
Hage, pictured, has been a part of the US CSG commercial organisation for more than six years, and the day-to-day sales leader in the US IBD division for the past year. He will report directly into Peter Woods, president and CEO of Dorel Sports.
In other CSG employment news Steve Reeds has been appointed as SVP Operations, CSG USA.
Reeds has more than 20 years of experience in global operations and sourcing within the different Dorel Sports companies.
Woods said: “I’m confident these changes will provide us with strong leadership for both the CSG US IBD business and our global CSG Operations team."
CSG is currently showing its 2017 product lines to dealers around the world, with European and Japanese distributors and dealers the first to see the new lines.
CSG is a division of Dorel Industries of Canada and owns brands Cannondale, Schwinn, GT, Mongoose, Caloi, IronHorse, Kid Trax, Charge, Guru, Fabric and Sugoi.
